Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg (2 c) chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
Heat oven to 375°.
Slowly combine all ingredients together. Drop down one tsp. at a time onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten to 2" diameter. Bake 8-10 min. Yields 2 1/2 dozen.
