Peanut Butter Cookies

- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. salt
Heat oven to 375°.
Combine shortening, brown sugar, sugar, peanut butter, vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well, form into a ball and refrigerate until chilled. Drop a ball into bowl of sugar and onto greased cookie sheet. Cris-cross with a fork. Bake for 8-10 min.
