It's been quite a while since my last post. This is what I call Micro News: a bunch of really short news items!Kill Bill Volume 1 is awesome. I wasn't overly interested when it first hit the "waves", but after seeing the first one I am psyched about catching Volume 2 when it comes out on DVD. It's almost a real live anime movie...although it acutally is an anime movie for awhile!
I am very anxious to see Shrek 2. The original movie was fricken cool due to the excellent story that appeals in different ways to different ages. Not to mention how stunning and life-like the animation has become. (See it for yourself!) I literally watched the first movie frame-by-frame to see all the incredible detail put into each scene. It makes Finding Nemo seem like Pixar put crayon to paper and said "it's a fish." Rumor has it that there will be two more Shrek's and I couldn't be happier. (BTW, just read reviews of the movie...I haven't seen this movie yet, but critics seem to have their thumb up their asses when they compare #2 to #1.)Iraq prisoner abuse scandal gets worse everyday. They want to demolish the prison...probably to cover up evidence. More and worse photos are leaked almost everyday. Bush's approval ratings are swirling the drain. Awesome.
PopCap makes some killer games. I just picked up a high quality version of BookWorm on GameBoy Advance yesterday (Only $20!!!). Today, I found they released AstroPop and it is a very addictive game. Try Zuma and Rocket Mania, too!
The whole gay marriage thing is a waste of effort. Let people be happy which ever way they choose. If they want to be married, let them. Just make sure they are subject to the same (mostly negative) rules heterosexuals live with: Divorce, allimony, etc. Granted, two men can't procreate (alone), but they could care for an adopted child just as well as a "normal" married couple.
Did you know gas prices are high? ...near summertime? ...near memorial day? ...when we're killing all sorts of people in the Middle East? ...and we're all driving SUVs? Surprised the hell out of me. :^)
