Hot Stuff!

Hello, there!  Welcome to a new Spolem.net.  This page marks my first step in transforming this site from the drab shade of blue it used to be and bathe it in a completely new shade of blue.  ;^)

You'll notice a completely changed logo, a brighter backdrop for my Bytes and a shiny new Google Ad up above.  I know, I know.  I've sold out to the man.  That's an ad from Google however.  If you people click on it enough to generate $100, I get it.  If not, oh well.  I'm not out anything...except my pride, I guess. 

The ads are supposed to customize themselves to the site contents.  I mentioned "Family Guy" in one of the Bytes below and now all I see is a Family Guy ad.  Now that I've typed it three more times, I doubt it'll leave at all now!  I guess I could always do this:

Maybe I'll get some cool Nintendo ads now.  At any rate, this new site design is far from simply for asthetics.  I plan on redoing the "innards" to create a more accessible and secure site.  A secret plan is also to allow other people, like my wife, the ability to add Bytes, Links or whatever I see fit to this page.  Call me crazy, but I think I'll enjoy this!
