A Change

Welcome to a newer Spolem!  I've consolidated the "Home" page with the front page of the site to try and put more functionality in less space.  One of the reasons I hardly ever write anything anymore is the fact that I'd hole myself up in the "Home" page.  I never popped out to the rest of the site because that page was so useful to me.  Now, I'm able to view the Bytes on the front page as well as the rest of things. 

Be forewarned, however, not everything is solid yet.  I reached a point in developing this new front page that demanded work be done to Bytes, the headlines and other pieces behind the scenes.  I'm striving to make the site XHTML compliant to at least the transitional level.  I still have a lot of UPPERCASE tags to lower-ize and the panel on the right of the front page needs work to make it as functional as the old "Home" page was.  Anyway, enjoy the changes and try not to step on any nails around here while I continue my work.
